Engineering Technology
Mrs. Gina Miller
Hello!
Welcome to my Engineering Technology page! My goal as a CTE teacher is to help my students learn how to use tech tools effectively and innovatively in a real-world setting through the design process and hands-on tasks.
This is my eighth year in USD 232 and my 30th year in education. I have taught career and tech education-related classes at the middle school level for 20 years. In the past, I also taught middle school language arts, middle school math, middle school journalism, and at the elementary level in 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. I am excited about another year in Flight & Space, Design & Modeling, and Automation & Robotics.
I attended Emporia State University to earn my education degree and graduated with a Master's in Instructional Design & Technology from Emporia State in spring of 2018. I also have certificates in Teaching with Technology and Digital Learning.
In my spare time I enjoy traveling, reading, watching movies, hanging out with friends and family, and watching/playing various sports. I am a 7th grade volleyball coach for MC and help with the musical in the spring.
I have high expectations for my students because I love watching them grow as they commit to a task, work hard toward the task, and achieve success!
